


Who is Stefan?
Born on the Mediterranean island of Malta, Stefan is a singer/songwriter and a notable figure in the Maltese music scene, known for his theatrical flair in alternative pop music. His journey began at a young age with Masquerade Arts School and Trinity College of Music.
Stefan's first major appearance was in the 2009 Malta Junior Eurovision finals. In 2011, he performed as a junior support act for Maltese pop icon Ira Losco’s anti-bullying concert, Music 4 Life, for an audience of over 10,000 teens. He later featured as a guest performer with the rock band Texanna at the annual Farsons Beer Festival.
In 2016, Stefan debuted in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest and impressed as a contestant on The X Factor Malta Season 1, earning unanimous approval from all four judges. His debut single, Escape, produced by DJ Carlo Gerada, secured his first spot on 89.7 Bay’s Malta's Top 10 chart. His track Untrue (2021) revealed a more abstract musical style.
He took part once again in the Malta Eurovision grand finals in 2023 with 'Heartbreaker', with a follow up single in 2024, 'Numb' co-written with Matthew James, Peter Paul (Tribali) & Muxu.
Stefan has collaborated with globally acclaimed songwriters, including Eurovision stars like Kjetil Mørland ('A Monster Like Me' & Attention by Ulrikke), Kristian Haux (Umami Tsunami), Carl-Henrik Wahl ('Give That Wolf A Banana' by Subwoolfer ), Thomas Felberg, Emma Gale, Silke , iTMR, and MATT BLXCK.
In 2025, he returned back to the national grand final for Eurovision with his hit entry Lablab (Talk Talk). Following an impactful performance, the track has become one of the artists most popular streamed tracks to date.
